Getting to know you ...

Monday was very much a day of getting to know you ...

While Molly and Lily know each other well and Roxie and Farrah are sisters, Jesse is fresh to the farm and Honeybee brand new.

Amidst the miles we walked ... and a few moments of tears when we just seemed to be too far away from anything familiar at all there were some fun moments in the childrens play.

Down the back where we'd gone to see the lambs, everyone just sort of stood for a while and took each other in.   Very cute ... getting familiar be feeling how it felt to be together and see each other.

Honeybee and Farrah bonded easily ... and was sweet seeing them figure which way to hold hands was going to be comfy.

The world felt pretty safe with a hand to hold ...

Jesse was pleased as punch to find this stump and wondered whether he could climb on top ...

Whoa .. a bit tricky at first ...

Some words of encouragement and faith from me and he kept going ...

Hey I did it!

Molly, Lily and Farrah all going for a ride ...

Roxie seeing if the couch she found was comfy ...

Honeybee trying out the stump and wondering just how far away from anything familiar we were ... it was starting to feel a long way away ...

Farrah and Roxie

Jesse only to happy to share his guinea pig experience with Honeybee who wasn't quite ready for one on her own lap ... yet loved to see what they were up to ...

Lily listening so earnestly to Honeybee and look at those little hands ...

Jesse's special find on the picnic blanket.   He was thrilled and held it carefully for a while as he talked to me about taking it home.   In the end, we figured if it got taken to his home, it would miss it's family and all that it knows and might be best to stay at the farm.
