Welcome ...
This blog has been created to allow family and friends to share in and become part of the experience of 'Down at the Farm'.
Enjoy the children, their love for each other and their open hearted wonder and excitement.
Over time you will get to know the farm through their eyes and will see how they spend their day with each other in a very rich, organic way.
Each vignette is a snapshot in time. Follow from one to another, then on to more and you can share in our unfoldment and journey.
Enjoy your visit ...

Goodbye to you dear Willow ...

Well once upon a time (about 3 1/2 years ago), a lovely young mum called Christie came down to the farm with her son Ryder so he could be part of things 'Down at the Farm' ... and he was and we loved him a lot ...

In her arms in those early days, was a very new and very gorgeous baby girl called Willow.

How time flies ...

... that baby girl walked out of the farm yesterday hand in hand with mum Christie and her dad Roger as her time with us came to an end.

Willow Rae Fowler ...

You have had your own journey Willow, from the heartaches of goodbyes with mum (mostly because we know you are a real homebody), to feet in the mud to 'being' our very own lamb, crawling along and bleating, to sitting in the sun making sure you share you lovemost tenderly with each baby goat in front of you ... ... it has been wonderful having you along as one of the angels at the farm on thursdays.

As quiet as you can be at times, we ain't fooled.  That deep interest in things, intelligent mind and great sense of humour are all in there and we've all had a real taste of it all over time.

Thankyou ~ our lives have been enriched by you and you are going to be missed dearly ... we love you Willow and how very special that you first came along in mums arms and walked out tall today for the next leg of your lifes journey ...

... and a few very cute moments from the day we said goodbye to Willow ...
