In the drizzle on thursday morning ... we stood and watched two ducks foraging for food in the mud. It was a treat as they dug with their beaks and made little pecking noises ... and seemed so very happy and content.
These two ducks were side by side in separate puddles in a muddy little place. As they muddled and dug, one duck moved a little closer to the other. It then dipped it's beak into the first ducks puddle and jostled a little until they found how to share ... side by side one little puddle.
We'd been watching for ages and the moment they settled in to a cooperative space, Anna piped up with, 'danella those two ducks are sharing.'
