Welcome ...
This blog has been created to allow family and friends to share in and become part of the experience of 'Down at the Farm'.
Enjoy the children, their love for each other and their open hearted wonder and excitement.
Over time you will get to know the farm through their eyes and will see how they spend their day with each other in a very rich, organic way.
Each vignette is a snapshot in time. Follow from one to another, then on to more and you can share in our unfoldment and journey.
Enjoy your visit ...

Milana, Milana .. we love you ..

Does anyone recognise this little face .. ?

Milana is that really you .. ?!

Sure is .. you were such a little and yet very LIVELY poppet when you first came along to the farm.

The only thing that has really changed is that you're now so much bigger .. all that liveliness is still in tact.

Well Milana, we have walked the miles together and I've had your little hand in mine many times.  You can light up the morning with a sunny smile and twinkly eyes .. round up the gang and convince anyone that where you are going is the best place ... and only place to be  right now.  You can summon the strength and tenacity of the ages when you don't feel things are fair ... and will stand your ground in the face of anyone.  Such strength and such beauty .. they are both alive in you.

You also love the beauty in life and can be so tender and light about it.  I will never forget the first time I saw you chasing a 'bullafloi'.  It alighted right near you in the garden and you could hardly believe it was there .. as it danced in the sun and you ran on twinkly toes to stay with it .. all you wanted was for everyone else to see it too.  'A bullafloi, a bullafloi .. look, look a bullafloi,' you called.

It was also you, who was 'Magicking' down by the river one day when you, 'magicked' a boat. In total synchronicity with your spoken word a boat came by on the river.  You turned to see it appear, as if it was the most natural thing in the world to carry the power of magic within you .. so that a boat would appear as you called it to.

.. and sometimes you just sit, like a maiden princess and chat with me about your life, loving that you can share it all ... and loving that I'm there and really interested in you.

Life has been full to the brim of wonder and challenge, beauty and magic through you Milana.  We are going to miss you more than I can imagine right now.  We love you heaps and wish you well, as you take your own journey on now.  I'm surer than sure that it will be full to the brim for you and of you.

Goodbye Milana ..
