Possum Houses and creating beauty ..

When children play with mother nature as their canvas and source of inspiration, they show incredible ingenuity, sensitivity, eye for detail and sense of beauty.

They also fill themselves with an immense sense of satisfaction and joy through this.

Clementine and Imogen, two dear little friends who came to the farm for a very long time together as 2-4 year olds, reunited for a day as the gorgeous 5 year old girls they are now and intstantly the importance of their play as an expression of their love for each other was alive.

We'd noticed possum houses in some of the trees at the farm ..

.. .. set up as safe spaces from foxes and a protected place for these native creatures who are one of our protected species, Imogen and Clementine were inspired upon seeing them to build more.

Amongst the stumps and sticks and things on the ground, they gave themselves totally to creating beautiful spaces for the possums.
