Welcome ...
This blog has been created to allow family and friends to share in and become part of the experience of 'Down at the Farm'.
Enjoy the children, their love for each other and their open hearted wonder and excitement.
Over time you will get to know the farm through their eyes and will see how they spend their day with each other in a very rich, organic way.
Each vignette is a snapshot in time. Follow from one to another, then on to more and you can share in our unfoldment and journey.

A weely quispy winter's day ...

Even though it was a freezing cold day and Luke informed me it was going to be a 'weely quispy winter's day', we managed to have lots of fun and keep pretty warm.  Thanks parents for dressing everyone in lots of warm layers, it did help us enjoy our day!

We played in the witches garden building rocket ships and houses for worms. We had at least three picnics and a very long cuddle with the guinea pigs (as cuddling is warm and it was under cover).

We read lots of books by the fire in the barn; Danella’s group joined us for that too.

We played pretend milking the cows and last but not least; the sun came out for a moment at the end of the day and we played hide and seek for quite some time. I was very impressed with some of the hiding skills and amused also by some spots.

We had a really nice day and I also got lots of cuddles from everyone which I always love. These guys are learning to respect and care for each other more and more each week, it’s a great thing to be witness to.

Here are a few photos from our day for you to enjoy.
