After two glorious days in a row at the farm, it sure felt different to arrive with things cold and grey and looking like rain was on it's way. Days like that I count on the fire in the barn to keep us warm and today there wasn't a flame in sight.
That wasn't a problem for Dakota, Jyra, Ted, Magnus and I ... we set off to collect some wood and light the fire ourselves ...
Not a bad blaze and enjoyed by many ... a proud little gang we were ...
The dynamic today was pretty gorgeous. The four children had a really good time together. Dakota was little miss conversation all day long. She and Magnus played with incredible love and care between them. Ted and Jyra too.
To ad some fun to our travel, a little wheelbarrow ride was part of the days fun as well ...
... and Dakota was fascinated by a book in the barn with a princess in it ... take a look and see if you can figure why ...
While the princess in the book looked way more worried than Dakota, I got the sense that she was 'seeing herself' while looking at this princess with dark hair.
