A wonderful day for all ..

As the sun poured down on the farm this morning helping us all thaw out of our morning chills, the energy was high once again and the gang were all raring to get into their day.

First stop after having a snack out of our lunch boxes (which seems to be a little ritual that we do), we were heading for guinea pig cuddles and found ourselves in the barn saying good morning to Saturday (the new calf on the farm) who is very adorable. The kids had their fingers out and Saturday was sucking on their fingers like a teat, a great experience for all of us.

We did make it to have cuddles with the guinea pigs and then came back into the barn to milk Heather (Saturdays mum).  A little scary for some, and others very enthusiastic and excited.

We then went for a walk and played under a big oak tree for a couple of hours which seemed to settle the gang into being together. I watched them all find their way into communicating well with each other and eventually finding a way to play all together. We went from Luke and Taj being the kings of the jungle, to Ella and Eden trying to catch Archie until Eden and Archie found a hill to climb and that got everyone’s attention so they slipped into finding a really nice groove, playing roly-poly-splat down the hill which turned into hide and seek.

The day was quite beautiful, the weather really assisted in creating an amazing feeling down at the farm today and overall, a wonderful day was had by all.

Take a peek ...
