Hey you guys ... follow me!

There was so much about today that was gorgeous that I barely know which to share and which to leave.

Alessia was hilarious.  She talked non-stop, most of it babble and managed to hold court while doing so.  At one point when we walked past reception on our way back from getting spinach from the vege patch ... Suzi asked how we were all going and Alessia looked straight at her and talked her little head off without Suzi or anyone else understanding anything she'd acutally said.   When she started, all the other girls looked up in surprise as she spoke with such confidence and candour.   Later as we picnicked, she sang and fell about and laughed so much so that the other girls ... all who can chat themselves, just sat and watched and enjoyed.  It was like she really made her mark today, in her own very unique and strong way.

Guinea pig cuddles were all pretty sweet ... see Alessia above ... her little face capturing her mood today ... and these below ...

Anna was hale and hearty today too ... she had a great time, walked and talked and played all day with lots of laughter sprinkling her path.

Romy kept sidling up to me and leaning in for a hug and looking into my face as if to say ... 'Life doesn't get much better than this, I can hardly believe I'm here again.'

Daisy was really bright, from the moment she arrived to the moment she left, she was one 'happy little vegemite' ... and even found Daisy's for her hair ...

Now Milana led the way when we did go down to the vege patch and this for me ... was hilarious.   Off she strode with her common call, 'Follow me guys ... this way ...'

The vege garden is a maze of community plots all higgledy piggledy and each it's own style.  Milana would walk to a cross roads, stop and decide where to next, turn and call again, 'This way everyone, come on,' and the gang would follow.

Well we walked and we walked until we were almost there in the most round about way you could imagine.   I just followed to see what would happen ... then suddenly we were in a loop.  Round once, twice, thrice and more we went ... just round the same plot with Milana confident at each turn that we were going the right way and no one seeming to notice, that we were heading round the same garden plot for ages.

All of a sudden Milana stopped dead in her tracks and said, 'Hey we been this way before ... hmm ... Now this way guys!' she called after a moments consideration ... and off she went to blaze a new path.

Romy with Spinach we collected to feed the chickens ... now that was fun when we got there too ...

Alessia (poking herself with a spinach stalk) and Anna, turning to look when they heard the Kookaburra's call as we often do when we go down to the vege garens ...

We also spent time under the big Oak tree near the vege garden ... and ... yes Milana noticed the hill and called straight away, 'Hey you guys, follow me, let's climb the big hill.'  She can rally a crowd at the drop of a hat this girl.

Alessia stuck by me and Anna had her own little wander and play as 'that hill' was looking a bit too big for both of them ...
